There are important steps you need to bear in mind when fitting a KI cabin rounded roof.
Be aware that the roof boards run from front to back, not side to side. So the end of each roof board will be at the front and back of the cabin.
Be careful not to apply too much pressure to the roof when nailing it to the purlins as this may warp the shape of the roof.
And the most important part, once you have nailed down the boards, take a circular saw and run grooves into the boards at 8mm depth.
We have found that because the boards want to bend back into a straight line, they are lifting the walls at the front and back of the cabins, and this should stop that happening.
Please take care when doing this.
You can then apply roofing as normal.
